THE SIBERIAN CAT

This
marvelous cat, native of Russia, can easely survive under the extreme
climate conditions of his Country.
The Siberian Cat is very strong and has a thick coat
that allows him to live at temperature far below zero Celsius.
The Siberian Cat is known in his Land since at least
1000 years.
Legend says it was used as watch animal in the farms.
For shure was the cat of monks and farmers, infallible and indefatigable
mouse hunter.
Since the beginning of 80's, when the first animals
entered Germany, the breed started to be slowly appreciated in Europe
and World wide.
The
first Siberian, Quendolina Romanova, arrived in Italy few
years later and started the best blood line, world wide known.
The Siberian is a big powerfull cat, with a compact
body and strong paws. The head is well proportioned and round in
shape, his eyes are green or amber yellow.
His winter coat is long and thick, expecially under
the belly, but shorter on neck and shoulders. The thick coat on
the back is shine and very strong. An impressive masse gives value
to the head.
The
Siberian has a mutable temper and always hides new surprises. He
can dramatically change in the short time of a wile from unconcern
to unimaginable love.
He is reserved but always gives the impression
to have a fascinating story to tell. His relations with humans and
other animals are always easy and genuine.
He carefully selects his master and offers
him a special relationship.
